Dismissed Murder Case

The murder case was dismissed after Preliminary Hearing and before the Trial Date. The client had a credible self-defense argument. We presented a PowerPoint timeline and videos of the serious threat posed to the client by the attacker, who also battered a car and threatened the driver, the client’s stepson, and also battered the client’s ex-wife just before the attacker was shot and killed. The client and his ex-wife had reconciled and were packing her belongings to move out of state and establish their relationship again.
